The armor can also contain weight data for a reference skeleton which allows the game to apply physics to the armor. From the two extremes, any weight value can be extrapolated.
Some armors are saved as two files: zero weight and 100 weight. Some only have one version with no weight data. If you equip armor, your body is ALWAYS converted to whatever body shape is saved with that armor, and you'll adopt some saved qualities such as weight sliders and physics weights.Īrmor mods have varying amounts of data added to them. If you've had time to acquaint yourself with Outfit Studio or armor meshes in general at this point, you'll notice that body armors actually include a body shape (badly made ones may include several redundant ones).
